Ten New Shows Just Landed

Our library quietly grew by ten titles this year — new dramas, fresh reality picks, and a couple of acclaimed classics we finally brought home. Here's everything that arrived, why each one earned a slot, and an open thread below for your first impressions.

10 new titles 9 team-reviewed 1 community comment

Over the past few months, the library here has grown by ten shows. Some arrived quietly between bigger updates, a few landed without much fanfare, and if you've been busy with the usual favourites, it would be completely understandable if several of them slipped past you. That's exactly why this page exists — to give each one a proper introduction, explain why it earned a slot, and hopefully help you find something new to fall into.

We didn't add these to pad out a number. Every title had to answer the same questions: does it bring something the rest of the library doesn't already cover? Is it genuinely good, or just available? Would we happily recommend it to a friend whose taste we trust? A few were easy calls. Others were deliberate gambles on shows we believe in and want to see find an audience here.

The Full Tour

  • ABC · Comedy-Procedural High Potential Kaitlin Olson plays a sharp-tongued single mom who cleans the LAPD precinct at night — until detectives discover her mind works differently from almost anyone else's. The rare procedural that makes you laugh between cases while quietly building a long-running family mystery underneath. Our easiest recommendation of the batch.
  • Hulu · Psychological Thriller Furious Emmy Rossum's FBI agent hunts Lola Petticrew's vigilante killer — and the show is honest enough to let you keep switching sides. New Girl creator Liz Meriwether trading sitcom chops for dread turned out to be one of the year's best surprises, and critics overwhelmingly agree.
  • USA Network · Crime Drama Anna Pigeon Tracy Spiridakos trades Chicago P.D.'s squad car for hiking boots as Nevada Barr's park ranger, solving murders across America's national parks. Gorgeous to look at, grounded in its heroine's grief, and refreshingly free of big-city cynicism.
  • Fox · Dramedy · Renewed for Season 2 Best Medicine Josh Charles plays a brilliant Boston surgeon whose sudden phobia of blood exiles him to a tiny fishing-town practice. Yes, it's the Doc Martin remake — and Annie Potts alone justifies pressing play. Fox believed in it enough to renew it already.
  • Stan Australia · Medical Drama The F Ward Six interns who failed their first year get one final chance at Sydney's underfunded Pines Hospital, with Anna Friel holding the ward together. The last-chance premise gives every shift real stakes — these doctors have everything to prove and nowhere left to hide.
  • A&E · Bodycam Reality Swamp Patrol Officers policing Louisiana bayous and Florida coastal inlets, filmed entirely on bodycam: drug busts in waist-deep water, stolen boats, eleven-foot gators on the landing. No backup for miles, and no script either. Nothing else in our library looks like this.
  • A&E · Ride-Along Reality Florida Heat The Live PD spinoff that stays unfiltered and unhurried — fifteen episodes of real Florida departments handling whatever rolls in. Weird, funny, tense, and always one call away from chaos. Pairs perfectly with Swamp Patrol.
  • Fox 2012 · Procedural · Complete Run The Finder Geoff Stults plays Walter Sherman, an Iraq veteran whose brain turns every missing person and buried secret into a solvable puzzle. A Bones spinoff cancelled after one season that deserved far more — and since the story is complete, there's zero commitment anxiety. Thirteen tight episodes, start to finish.
  • CBS 2015–2018 · Medical Drama · Complete Run Code Black Marcia Gay Harden runs an LA County emergency room so overloaded that staff coined the term "code black" — more patients than resources, every single shift. Adapted from an acclaimed documentary, it captures medicine at its most raw across three full seasons.
  • Prime Video · Action-Crime · Premieres Sept 16 Neagley Maria Sten steps out of Reacher's shadow as private investigator Frances Neagley, digging into a beloved friend's suspicious death. All eight episodes land at once — we'll be watching day one, and our full review follows the premiere.

So here's the honest part. A library is only as alive as the people using it, and these ten shows are only worth keeping if people actually watch them. So this is our invitation to every single one of you: watch all ten. Yes, all of them — especially the ones you think aren't your thing, because those have a habit of surprising people. Throw on High Potential after work, binge The Finder over a weekend, queue up Furious when you want something intense, ride along with Florida Heat while you fold laundry. Then bring your verdict back here — five stars or one star, love letter or hot take, every single opinion matters and none of them are wrong. What you say in the discussion below goes straight to the team deciding what we add next, so don't hold back.
